probationary period is generally believed to institute, by means of which the employer verify the qualifications and suitability of an employee for a particular job, before making a final decision whether to “take” or not. This is true. A purpose of probation is that – and this is often forgotten – that the employee finds him or offered to work with. If he does, he may, before the expiry of the period of probation terminates the employment contract, with the notice period only 7 days.
